Build Connections in Østerbro and Nordhavn

Moving to a new city often comes with both excitement and uncertainty – especially when it comes to meeting people and feeling at home. 

Try Out Your Neighbourhood is created for internationals in Østerbro and Nordhavn who want to connect with others while discovering what the local area has to offer.

Across four weeks, you’ll take part in a series of shared experiences – from guided neighbourhood tours and cultural talks to social dining and cinema nights. 

Each event is designed to make it easier to start conversations, build relationships, and feel part of a community.A cultural guide will be there throughout the programme to support the group and help create a relaxed and inclusive atmosphere.

The goal is simple: to bring internationals and Danes closer together and open the door to the many cultural opportunities in the neighbourhood. You’re encouraged to join the full series to get the most out of the experience, but you can also participate more flexibly. 

If you’d like to take a more active role, you can even get involved as a volunteer and help shape the community going forward.
